What is SAP BTP and do we need it?
BTP is SAP's platform for integration, extension, data, and AI. If you run S/4HANA (especially RISE or GROW) or plan to adopt any SAP AI capability, you need a governed BTP foundation. It's where clean-core extensions and Joule agents both live.
We're on RISE with SAP — is BTP included?
RISE includes BTP entitlements (CPI, and AI activation commitments). Most organizations don't fully deploy what they're entitled to. deBCor ensures the BTP foundation in your RISE contract is actually architected and used.
What's the difference between BTP and S/4HANA?
S/4HANA is the digital core (your ERP). BTP is the platform layer around it where you extend, integrate, and add AI — without modifying the core. Clean core depends on getting this separation right.
