DEBCOR Engineering®

SAP Business AI · €100M Incentive Program

SAP is funding companies’ first Business AI projects. You can’t apply for it.

SAP nominates the customer; the customer picks the partner. DEBCOR Engineering is an approved partner — and we build the fundable case with you, starting with a free 1–2 week AI assessment. The program closes December 31, 2026.

The catch

What most teams miss about this program.

Sapphire 2026 — program announcedTodayDec 31, 2026 — window closes

You cannot self-enroll

The program runs through SAP-approved partners. There is no form a customer submits directly to SAP; the case is built and championed with a partner.

It funds real deployments

SAP funds working Business AI agents in production-bound landscapes — not proofs-of-concept, not strategy decks. Deployments must use SAP Build, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP AI Core, SAP Joule Studio, or SAP Joule Work.

Public sector is excluded

Government and public-sector entities are outside the program's scope. Commercial enterprises on or moving to SAP qualify.

The window closes end of 2026

The program ends December 31, 2026, and a case needs time to be scoped, submitted, and approved before that date. Later starts leave less runway.

The fastest path in is a use case worth funding — and that is an architecture conversation with DEBCOR, not a form.

We carry the load

Everyone's saying “we want AI.” Almost no one can say what for.

The mandate is coming from the top of nearly every enterprise: the board wants AI, the CEO wants AI, and the teams below are left to figure out what “AI” actually means for the business. Articulating which use cases are meaningful — and which outcomes justify the investment — is where most initiatives stall before they start.

That's where DEBCOR carries the heavy load for you. We don't just deliver AI — we sit with your team, help you articulate and architect the use cases that are actually relevant to your business, and shape the strongest one into a case SAP wants to fund. Then we cut through the red tape: the nomination materials, the submission, the follow-through — so your team never has to learn a program SAP built for its partners to navigate. You don't need to arrive with a solution architecture. You need to arrive with a business.

Bring us the initiative. We'll build the case — free.

A free 1–2 week AI assessment, sized against your own SAP data. Worst case, you walk away with a board-ready AI roadmap — at no cost. It starts with a 15-minute Fit Check.

What is the SAP AI Fund?

You may have seen it called the SAP AI Fund — officially, it's the SAP Business AI Partner-Led Adoption Incentive Program, a €100 million commitment SAP announced at Sapphire 2026 to fund customers' first Business AI projects through approved partners. Same program, two names. DEBCOR Engineering is an approved partner in the program's pool, which means we can architect your project's case and take it into SAP's process.

How DEBCOR gets you in

Five steps. DEBCOR builds the case; SAP nominates the customer; you choose your partner.

You bring the initiative

An AI project on or adjacent to your SAP landscape. An idea is enough — you don't need a solution architecture yet.

We architect the case with you

DEBCOR sits with your team and shapes the use case, the business outcome, and the technical scope into a case worth SAP's sponsorship. Most partners wait passively for SAP to nominate; DEBCOR helps build the case that makes SAP want to.

We assess fit and prep the submission

DEBCOR maps the case against SAP's published program criteria and tiers, packages the supporting materials, and hands SAP a proposal that's easy for them to say yes to.

SAP reviews and nominates

SAP evaluates against its own criteria. Strong, well-scoped cases get nominated. Nothing is automatic — but this is where the work in steps 2 and 3 pays off.

You choose your partner

Approved customers select from SAP's approved partner pool. DEBCOR is eligible to be selected — the choice is yours, and the earlier work makes DEBCOR the natural next call.

Steps 1–3 · The free 1–2 week assessment

We build the fundable case with you — in one to two weeks, at no cost.

SAP funds the projects worth funding, and what makes a project worth funding is a use case with a clear outcome, sized against your own SAP data. You leave with that case whether or not you engage us to deliver it.

Find the use case worth funding

A working session against your SAP estate to surface the AI outcome with the clearest, fastest payoff.

Assess the value and ROI

Modeled conservatively — the hours it takes back, the cash it protects — so the case rests on numbers.

Define the solution architecture

How the agent lands — Joule Studio where SAP has paved it, the DEBCOR AI Platform via MCP where it hasn't.

Confirm the funding fit and tier

Whether it may qualify, which tier it maps to, and the fastest path in. SAP decides; we prepare the case.

Which tier fits your initiative?

SAP structures the program in four tiers. Where you enter depends on how far along your AI journey is.

You can start small. €15K (≈ $16K) activates a pre-built SAP agent; the program scales to €100K (≈ $110K) for a full rollout.

Enterprise€100K≈ $110KThree or more custom agents plus workflow applications for a broad rollout, anchored by an AI Center of Excellence.AI is a board-level program across the estate, not a single project.

Tier amounts as reported by SAPinsider (June 2026); funding is capped at €100K (≈ $110K) per customer at the entity level. SAP confirms the exact amount and tier placement during scoping. The incentive is paid by SAP to the approved partner for qualifying adoption work — it is not a discount, rebate, or cash payment to the customer. SAP determines final scope and program eligibility.

What we’ll tell you straight

Where you stand — either way.

To be direct about the mechanics: SAP reviews and nominates customer opportunities into the program based on SAP’s own criteria. For approved opportunities, the customer selects their preferred partner from SAP’s pool of approved partners. Nothing about this is an automatic grant, and DEBCOR isn’t guaranteed to be selected for any given opportunity.

That candor is the point of the Fit Check. If your initiative doesn’t look like a plausible fit for SAP’s published criteria, we’ll tell you — and tell you what would change the picture. If the program isn’t the right vehicle, DEBCOR’s AI work is available on a direct commercial basis, and we’ll say that plainly too. You’ll leave the conversation knowing where you stand either way.

And the assessment stands on its own: even if SAP doesn’t nominate the project, you walk away with a board-ready AI use case, sized and architected — at no cost.

Common questions

What SAP customers ask about the program.

Program basics

Is this the “SAP AI Fund” announced at Sapphire 2026?

Yes. “SAP AI Fund” is the shorthand most people use for SAP's Business AI Partner-Led Adoption Incentive Program — the €100 million pledge SAP made to its partner ecosystem at Sapphire in May 2026. If you searched for the SAP AI fund, this is the program, and this page explains how to access it. DEBCOR Engineering is an approved partner in the program's pool.

How much can the SAP AI Fund cover?

SAP funds approved partner-delivered work across four tiers — from deploying an SAP AI assistant up to enterprise programs with multiple custom agents and workflow applications. SAP sets the incentive amount per tier and applies a per-customer cap, confirmed during scoping. SAP nominates and approves each customer project, so the amount depends on scope and tier. The fastest way to find out what your project could qualify for is a short scoping conversation.

What is SAP's Business AI Partner-Led Adoption Incentive Program?

Announced by SAP at Sapphire 2026 as part of the Autonomous Enterprise vision, the Business AI Partner-Led Adoption Incentive Program commits €100 million from SAP to its partner ecosystem to help SAP customers move Business AI from planning to production. The program is structured in four tiers — Adoption, Launch, Performance, and Enterprise — described in the tier table above. SAP nominates customer opportunities into the program based on SAP's own criteria; for approved opportunities, the customer selects their preferred partner from SAP's approved partner pool.

When does the funding window close?

SAP has set the program's window through December 31, 2026. A case needs time to be scoped, submitted, and moved into an initial deployment phase before that date — so the practical window for starting the conversation is well before year-end. If the timeline is a concern for your initiative, raise it in the Fit Check and we'll give you an honest read on feasibility.

Is this a discount, a rebate, or cash paid to us?

None of those. SAP pays the incentive to the approved partner for the approved adoption work, up to the per-customer cap. The customer receives the benefit as reduced engagement cost from the partner — not as a cash payment, credit note, or SAP-side discount on licenses. Final scope and approval are SAP's; DEBCOR passes the funded scope through as covered work.

Eligibility

How does a customer qualify — and can DEBCOR help shape the case?

Yes. This is the point most partners miss. SAP nominates strong, well-scoped cases into the program — and "strong and well-scoped" is exactly what DEBCOR and your team build together in step 2 of the process above. We help you frame the business outcome, the technical scope, and the supporting materials in a way SAP wants to sponsor. If the initiative is approved into the program, you then select your preferred partner from the approved pool. DEBCOR is eligible to be selected; the earlier work makes DEBCOR the natural next call.

Do we need to be a new SAP customer, or does existing SAP work qualify?

Both paths qualify. Existing SAP Business AI customers on active agreements can be nominated for adoption work against the AI capabilities already in their contract. Net-new customers need to commit to a qualifying SAP commercial agreement as part of the program — SAP confirms which commercial arrangements qualify during scoping. DEBCOR helps you understand which path fits your current landscape.

Are public-sector or government entities eligible?

No — SAP has explicitly excluded public-sector and government entities from this incentive program. If you're a public agency exploring SAP Business AI, DEBCOR's engagements are available on a direct commercial basis and can still be scoped against the same technical patterns (Joule agents, BTP-hosted agents, MCP-connected tools), just without the incentive funding path.

What's the minimum SAP commitment required to qualify?

For net-new customers, SAP expects a qualifying multi-year commercial commitment to the underlying SAP Business AI Platform or a qualifying BTP arrangement — SAP confirms the specific term requirements during scoping, and the commercial terms are between you and SAP, not DEBCOR. For existing customers, the qualification is against your current commercial agreement's coverage of SAP Business AI capabilities. In every case, the deployment must use at least one of SAP Build, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP AI Core, SAP Joule Studio, or SAP Joule Work.

Funding mechanics

What are the four funding tiers and what does each cover?

Adoption covers a scoped adoption workshop and the first live agent. Launch covers a first production agent plus governance wiring. Performance covers a small portfolio of production agents with measurable outcomes. Enterprise covers a multi-workstream Business AI rollout across the SAP landscape. SAP sets the incentive amount for each tier and confirms it during scoping. Tier selection depends on scope and SAP's approval — DEBCOR helps size the case honestly against your business goals rather than upsizing to the tier cap for its own sake.

Is the incentive cap per customer, per project, or per year?

SAP applies a per-customer cap on total incentive across all approved engagements in the program — it is a lifetime cap per customer, not per project or per year. SAP confirms the specific amount during scoping. That's why case scoping matters — the shape of the initial engagement affects whether there's headroom for follow-on work under the same cap.

Who is the funding paid to — DEBCOR or the customer?

The funding is paid by SAP to the approved partner for approved adoption work. As the customer, you don't receive a payment; you receive engagement work at reduced cost. That's why customer selection of the partner matters: SAP's incentive flows through the partner you pick from SAP's approved pool. DEBCOR passes the funded scope through transparently — no markup on SAP-funded work.

Engagement logistics

How fast can the first agent be live?

For a well-scoped Adoption or Launch-tier engagement, fast — the program rewards rapid, real deployment, and SAP confirms its specific timeline expectations during scoping. DEBCOR's five-layer AI agent architecture, our Joule Studio + BTP-native build patterns, and our production reference implementations mean the first live agent lands inside a governed sandbox in weeks, not months. What extends any timeline isn't the agent — it's the data layer, the identity governance, and the change-management wrap. DEBCOR's approach compresses those three, not shortcuts them.

Who owns the AI agent and its IP once it's built?

You do — the client. Every DEBCOR engagement leaves the client with the deployed agent, the governance wiring, the runbooks, and the code/config in your own SAP tenant and repositories. DEBCOR retains the reusable architectural patterns and delivery accelerators (that's the Damascus standard), but the specific agent implemented against your data, your policies, and your workflows belongs to you. No proprietary black-box dependency.

What if our AI needs cross SAP and non-SAP systems?

That's the common case. Most enterprise AI work today touches SAP and other systems — CRM, warehouses, document stores, homegrown databases. DEBCOR's AI Packages track delivers outcome-first AI on any stack, and where SAP is in the picture the same engagements may qualify for the incentive program. The bridge to SAP-native is optional, not required — but if you have a case that spans both, we scope it once and the SAP-side work is the funded portion.

Why DEBCOR

What makes DEBCOR different from other approved partners in this program?

Two things. First, DEBCOR is dual top-tier at the foundation-model layer — Anthropic Claude Preferred Services Partner AND OpenAI Select Partner. Most SAP AI partners are locked to one LLM vendor; DEBCOR picks the model that fits the workload. Second, DEBCOR is SAP Gold Partner with 8 competencies across the SAP solution map (3 Expert including SAP Business AI Platform, 4 Advanced, 1 Essential), plus SAP Build and SAP Service Partner designations. That combination — the model choice AND the SAP depth — is what SAP customers making multi-year AI architectural decisions notice.

SAP hasn't nominated us yet. Can DEBCOR still help us shape the case?

This is exactly when to talk to DEBCOR. Step 2 of our process — architecting the case with you — is the pre-nomination work that makes SAP want to nominate. If you wait until SAP nominates you before starting the architectural conversation, you're already behind the customers who worked with a partner up front. The 15-Minute Fit Check exists precisely for this window: describe the initiative, get an honest read on the shape SAP would want to see, and decide together whether to progress.

How do we start the conversation?

Book the 15-Minute Fit Check above. Describe the AI initiative you are considering and the SAP landscape it sits in. DEBCOR will tell you whether it looks like a plausible fit for SAP's program criteria, what a realistic engagement scope would be, and what the sequencing looks like. If it is not a fit for the incentive program, we will say so — and DEBCOR's AI work is available on a direct commercial basis regardless.
