DEBCOR Engineering®

Announcement · SAP Business AI

There’s SAP funding for AI projects. Most companies never claim it.

DEBCOR Engineering is now an approved partner in SAP’s Business AI Partner-Led Adoption Incentive Program — a €100 million program SAP unveiled at Sapphire 2026 to help its customers get Business AI initiatives off the ground, with SAP’s own incentive funding behind qualifying engagements.

What this means if you’re an SAP customer

There may be funding sitting next to your AI roadmap that you don’t know exists.

If an AI initiative is anywhere on your roadmap — inside SAP BTP, SAP Build, Joule activation, or your broader SAP landscape — SAP may have funding available to help you get there through this incentive program, and most SAP customers don’t know it exists. Approved partners like DEBCOR can help you understand whether your project could qualify and what the path forward looks like.

How the program actually works

An approved pool. Customer choice. Nothing automatic.

To be direct about the mechanics: SAP reviews and nominates customer opportunities into the program based on SAP’s own criteria. For approved opportunities, the customer selects their preferred partner from SAP’s pool of approved partners. Nothing about this is an automatic grant, and DEBCOR isn’t guaranteed to be selected for any given opportunity.

What has changed: DEBCOR is now positioned to help customers navigate the qualification and partner-selection process. That’s the material step. We’re now inside a channel we can meaningfully help SAP customers use.

Why DEBCOR

This incentive approval sits on a stack of credentials.

Three SAP credentials matter for AI work on the platform. DEBCOR carries all three.

SAP Gold PartnerExpert · SAP Business AI PlatformExpert · Business Transformation ManagementExpert · SAP Business Data Cloud

01

SAP Business AI Platform Expert — with the AI Foundation specialization

The competency SAP evaluates for business AI on its platform (formerly SAP BTP Expert). DEBCOR holds two specializations within it: Application Development and Automation, and Artificial Intelligence Foundation — the specialization SAP tracks specifically for enterprise AI work. Not just the reading; the shipped implementations.

02

SAP Build partner — with our own products on the SAP Store

DEBCOR builds and ships proprietary software on SAP’s platform. Our products are listed on store.sap.com — we build software on SAP, not just consult around it.

03

Approved partner in SAP's Business AI Partner-Led Adoption Incentive Program

The credential this post is about. DEBCOR is now in SAP’s approved partner pool for the program, positioning us to help SAP customers pursue AI initiatives that may qualify for SAP incentive funding.

Common questions

What SAP customers ask about the program.

What is SAP's Business AI Partner-Led Adoption Incentive Program?

Announced by SAP at Sapphire 2026 as part of the Autonomous Enterprise vision, the Business AI Partner-Led Adoption Incentive Program commits €100 million from SAP to its partner ecosystem to help SAP customers move Business AI from planning to production. The program is structured in four tiers — Adoption (deploying existing AI assistants with structured enablement), Launch (building and deploying at least one custom agent via Joule Studio), Performance (demonstrating measurable business outcomes from deployed agents), and Enterprise (comprehensive AI strategy delivery with full Joule Studio mastery). SAP nominates customer opportunities into the program; for approved opportunities, the customer selects their preferred partner from SAP's approved pool.

How does a customer qualify?

Qualification runs through SAP. SAP reviews and nominates customer opportunities into the program based on SAP's own program criteria — nothing about qualification is automatic and DEBCOR does not decide who qualifies. What DEBCOR can do is help customers understand whether their initiative is a plausible fit for the program, what a realistic engagement scope looks like, and what supporting materials help the case with SAP. If your initiative is approved into the program, you then select your preferred partner from the approved pool — DEBCOR is eligible to be selected, not guaranteed to be.

What kinds of AI initiatives fit the program?

Business AI initiatives on the SAP stack — Joule activation, SAP Business AI use cases across finance, procurement, supply chain, HR, and customer experience, custom Joule Studio agents, and BTP-hosted agentic workloads that ground in SAP data. DEBCOR's five-layer AI agent architecture (Orchestration, Intelligence, Worker, Governance, Auditing) is designed for exactly this class of engagement. If your AI roadmap is inside or adjacent to SAP, it is worth a conversation.

What if we're an SAP customer with AI needs that sit outside SAP too?

That is the common case. Most enterprise AI work today touches SAP and other systems — CRM, warehouses, document stores, homegrown databases. DEBCOR's AI Packages track delivers outcome-first AI on any stack, and where SAP is in the picture, the same engagements may qualify for the incentive program. The bridge to SAP-native is optional, not required.

How do we start the conversation?

Reach out — the fastest path is to describe the AI initiative you are considering and the SAP landscape it sits in. We will tell you whether it looks like a plausible fit for SAP's program criteria, what a realistic engagement scope would be, and what the sequencing looks like. If it is not a fit for the incentive program, we will say so — and the AI Packages track is still available on a direct commercial basis.
